Super Effective Egg White Mask to Get Rid of Blackheads

Everyone agrees on the fact that blackheads can become a nightmare and something that we do not want to have on our skin, but, unfortunately, almost everyone had or has blackheads. In medical terms a blackhead is called an open comedo, which is nothing but a clogged pore in the skin. The blackheads are caused by an excessive sebum secretion that is blocking the hair follicles from inside. Outside, in the surface of the skin, the blockage will be oxidized, becoming black. The most common skin area where we can find blackheads is the nose, but it is not unusual to find it also in the chin area, the forehead or anywhere else on the face, especially if the skin type is oily.

Get rid of the blackheads easily with this super effective egg white mask

No matter how annoying having blackheads can be, the good news is that we have the ingredient that can help us have a flowless skin right in the kitchen – the egg white. This very accessible ingredient is capable of wonders for the skin, tightening the pores while it gets rid of the blackheads. All you need to do is separate the egg white from the yolk, soak a paper napkin in it and apply to your face. Wait for the first layer to get dry and then apply another one on top. Wait for 20 minutes or until you feel the egg white is completely dry on your face, then use a damp hot towel to gently remove it from your skin. You can use this home remedy up to three times a week and the result will be amazing.

Cure and prevent

Agreeing that it is quite easy to get rid of this skin imperfection with the homemade remedy mentioned above, I think the prevention is also important. How to do it? My advice is to take care which type of food we are eating, trying to avoid fats and introducing zinc in the diet. Also, do not try to squeeze the blackheads, because you will make it worse. Don’t forget to remove your make-up before going to bed and to apply once a week the egg white mask, for prevention.

If we are patient enough we can easily get rid of this skin issue with a common ingredient that everyone has in the kitchen, but we should also make sure that we will minimize and eventually eliminate the recurrent by taking care of our skin in advance.
