How to Get Rid of an Abscess Painless and Naturally

Tooth abscess is quite painful and can even cause gingivitis. A poor dental hygiene, high consumption of sugar and carbohydrates can cause this problem.
It is best to see your dentist, but there are also some natural remedies that can treat dental abscess or at least relieve its symptoms and reduce infection:

1. Garlic

Garlic has anti-inflammatory properties and is a very good natural antibiotic. Garlic can reduce pain and prevents the spread of the infection.

Take 1 garlic clove and chew it (the same way you’re chewing gum). Spit it out and rinse your mouth with water.
Repeat this 3-4 times a day for several weeks.

2. Coconut Oil

It is an old practice that reduces the number of bacteria that produce and maintain the infection.

Take 1 tablespoon of extra virgin coconut oil and keep it in your mouth for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, spit it out and rinse thoroughly with water. For best results, repeat the process 2 times a day for a month.

3. Turmeric

Turmeric is a good antibiotic, has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces pain and inflammation. It also maintains a good oral health.

Mix a spoonful of turmeric with water and apply the paste directly to the abscess and keep it there for 15-20 minutes. Spit it out and rinse your mouth thoroughly.
Instead of water, you can mix turmeric with mustard oil or olive oil.
Repeat this treatment several times a day.

4. Oregano Oil

It has antibacterial and antioxidant properties, being very useful in treating tooth abscesses.

Put a few drops of oregano oil on the abscess and leave it there for 15 minutes. Repeat the process 3-4 times a day.

5. Mint

Mint works like a miracle when it comes to soothing the pain caused by a tooth abscess. Mint has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and prevents infection from spreading.

Put a few drops of mint oil on the affected area and massage well with your fingers. Repeat several times a day.
