Mead – Vitamin And Mineral Source. Beneficial Effects On Digestive-Respiratory-Cardiovascular System

It is known as one of the oldest remedies for rejuvenation. Some people say that mead is originated in Babylon, others say that it was discovered in India more than 6,000 years ago.

Research has shown that mead, which is based on honey, it is a real cocktail of vitamins, enzymes and natural hormones.

How to make mead

Put 4-5 tablespoons of honey and half a teaspoon of pollen in 1 liter of water. Mix well then pour the mixture in a glass bowl (or glass jar) close to a heat source.

Shake the jar 3-4 times a day. The preparation will acidify and fortify within 2 days, which means it can be consumed. It tastes sweet-sour and slightly bitter (like an ordinary soda but no sugar, preservatives, colorings and other additives included).

This drink brings a good intake of vitamins and minerals and has beneficial effects on the digestive system, but also in treating cardiovascular or respiratory diseases.
